Group training (GT) sessions will be conducted at IWCA centers on specified day/s & time.
At IWCA, we are committed to provide 16 hours of training every month. In case of cancellation of the class due to unavoidable circumstances on our part, IWCA will take a compensatory class.
The class will be open as per the schedule & students are expected to attend the class as per schedule. Any class absenteeism will be considered as an availed session.
If a class is not conducted due to unavailability of the venue, force majeure conditions or public holidays, it will NOT be compensated.
All students are requested to take care of their belongings while in the class. IWCA will not be responsible for any loss of student belongings.
2. Fees Related
Fees for a student are Non-Transferable and Non-refundable. Fees to be paid before the beginning of the monthly training.
The GT fees are valid only for the month / billing cycle (BC = 30 days). The sessions for the month / BC have to be availed in the same period and cannot be carried forward to the next month / BC.
3. Refund related
Please note that once the fees are paid, there will be no refund under any circumstances. Under certain unavoidable circumstances the management may allow the student to avail the sessions within a stipulated period of time. This will be decided on case to case basis by the management.
In case of postponement of session due to force majeure, compensatory sessions will be provided within the next available slots.
4. Safety & Other precautions
Student with any medical history that didn’t allow sports/martial arts practice in the past should submit a doctor’s certificate confirming fitness.
Wing Chun Kung Fu is close combat martial arts. The student therefore must understand that a certain degree of physical contact with the instructors is inevitable during the training.
The instructor will inform about the suitable dress code for the training after the formalities of admission are completed. Student needs to strictly adhere to it. In addition, the student is expected to have their own appropriate protective footwear, water bottle, hand-towel, hand sanitizer etc.
Safe training & overall health of the student during the training term is of prime importance to us hence IWCA training is more co-operative than competitive. While the instructors are trained to control their force during training, the same is expected from the students.
While IWCA Training is non-injury oriented, IWCA will not be responsible for any damage caused to the student or the training premises during the course of training.
5. Instructor & Student Behavior
Student is expected to maintain the decorum of the session and behave in a respectful manner towards the instructor. Bad language or behavior, challenging the instructor or unsolicited forced duels with the instructor will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of training. Under such circumstances there will be no refund.
Student is expected to behave responsibly outside the class. Use of martial art skills for unlawful activities, to cause harm to others or use of skills to bully the weak goes strictly against the spirit of martial arts. Student is expected to maintain the sanctity of the art at all time.
In case of any disagreement with instructor or any complaint against the behavior of instructor, the student has to immediately notify the chief instructor / trustees before making any comments on public platform. The management will review both the sides of the case before arriving at an amicable solution.
I have read and understood the terms and conditions and I hereby agree to strictly adhere to it.
